Canon eos 7d vs 5d mark ii. I'm thinking of buying a used camera and can't deside between the 7d and 5d mark ii. The 7d is being sold at a price of 300€ and 5d mark ii at 350€. The main issue is that I would like to take good quality video for my short films, but the ef lenses for 5d are way more expensive than the efs lenses. At ISO 100, the 7D Mark II looks identical to the 70D – which is a good thing! f/4 @ 24 mm, 1/20, ISO 6400, No Flash. At ISO 6400, things start to suck – especially when compared to a 70D, Nikon D750, or even a D7100! After ISO 6400 the images become basically unusable in my opinion which is sad for a sports camera.

70d to 7d mark ii. I’ve had my canon 70d since it first released. Before that I had a t3i so it was a big upgrade for me. I intentionally got the 70d because I thought I was going to take more video, but ended up just doing photos with it. I mostly photograph dogs (portrait and outdoor dog sports).
