Companions additionally gain some XP in various skills from completing quests, but hardly enough to warrant being gone for the number of days any quest
Wait until you can craft 100k+ items before leveling characters you care about (hire companions you don't care about and use up their stamina and level your smithers to learn the right unlocks). You can go past where one would usually hit 0x gain by gaining a ton of experience all at once.
i put a companion as the quartermaster if i don't wamt to invest in intelligence or whatever the attribute is called. i think people take it themselves because it's easy to level up. so it might be a good idea to make yourself the quartermaster later in the game. idk. i use leveling rebalance to make gaining levels easy. 1. 507Gavilan • 3 yr
You can always make a new clan as long you have a fief, 500 influence, 20k and the wanderer (and are the ruler). However, I feel once I have a large amount of clans all normal clans give me the "I'm happy with my liege" line regardless of the situation. It's likely is more complicated then just a hard limit but there's something to it.
